If you like your coffee lively and expressive, this is your bag. Our Guji is juicy and floral with a clean finish, the kind of cup that tastes like sunshine without getting syrupy or heavy.
These beans come from high elevations in the Guji highlands, where cool nights and slow ripening lock in sweetness and nuance. The cherries are dried whole on raised beds, which concentrates ripe red-fruit character and lifts those tea-like florals. Expect a silky body, sparkling acidity, and an aroma that jumps out of the grinder.
This is the coffee you brew when you want your morning to feel fresh and a little bit special. Black is best if you want the florals to sing, but it holds up with a splash of milk if that is your move.
Brew Tips
Guji shines with pour-over, AeroPress, and precision drip. Start around a 1:16 ratio with 200°F water. Want more fruit? Grind a touch finer. Want a rounder cup? Bump the ratio to 1:15 or lower your water temp a couple of degrees.
