Peach Cold Brew Coffee Recipe

Peach Syrup Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups fresh peaches (peeled, pitted, and diced) or 1 ½ cups canned peaches (drained and diced)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the peaches, sugar, and water.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally to dissolve the sugar.
  3. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for about 10-15 minutes, or until the peaches are soft and the syrup has thickened slightly.
  4. Remove from heat and let the syrup cool.
  5. For a smooth syrup, strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a clean container, pressing down on the peaches to extract as much liquid as possible. If you prefer a chunkier syrup, you can skip this step.
  6. Stir in the vanilla extract (if using).
  7. Store the syrup in the refrigerator in a sealed container for up to two weeks.
